How We Work

Upon receiving a referral for services, Quest, carefully matches you with an Employment Specialist best fit to address your specific employment needs to ensure you receive the highest quality assistance to achieve employment.

Our Process

Quest utilizes a “boots on the ground” approach to job development by building relationships with employers and accessing positions not typically listed on standard job boards. For individuals who require a greater level of support, we offer Supported Employment Services by utilizing a high fidelity model of Individual Placement and Person- Centered Support.

Our Approach

Our Employment Specialists use evidence-based practices and time-tested methodologies to deliver quality employment, disability, and transition services to meet the needs of our customers. Meet the Team Behind

Scott Miller, MS, CRC | Director | Owner

After completing his Master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of North Texas, Scott embarked on a path to help people in his community reach their employment goals. That’s why he developed Quest, an organization focused on providing critical employment services to individuals with disabilities. A comprehensive, innovative, and evidence-based provider of employment services, Quest has already played a pivotal role in the community’s job placement success, including Project Search which helped place students in jobs that fit their strengths, priorities, and interests. With Quest, Scott plans to ensure there’s much more job placement success to come in the DFW community.

Dana MacDonald, MS, CRC, CVE | Director

Dana joined Quest in December of 2014 after meeting Scott Miller in her first semester of graduate school. Dana obtained her Masters in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Texas in August of 2017 and is a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. Dana is currently the Director of Quest. She uses her years of experience in job placement, supported employment, job coaching, autism spectrum disorder services, and vocational adjustment training to manage and train Quests’ incredible team of employment specialists. Dana loves the creativity afforded to an employment specialist and their hunt for the perfect job fit. She enjoys mentoring and watching the team grow and is truly passionate about her work with Quest Employment Services.

Matthew Jenkins, BS | Program Director

Meet Matt, originally from Washington D.C., who relocated to Texas as a youth. While in college, a chance encounter with Scott Miller changed Matt's career trajectory. Matt completed his undergrad degree at the University of North Texas while maintaining a 4.0 GPA and multiple honors. Today, he brings his passion for helping others with Quest, where he eagerly contributes to our mission.

Najwan Rahmeh |Employment Specialist

Najwan graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology in 1998. Shortly after graduating, she worked for 4 years as an ABA behavior therapist with children with Autism and IDD in Chicago, IL. In 2004, Najwan had the opportunity to work in Qatar where she gained another 14 years of experience in ABA, working under the supervision of two brilliant BCBA’s, providing behavior intervention while preparing individuals with Autism and IDD ages 16-35 for their future in supported employment and post-secondary education. Najwan has solid experience in Social Science Research and Methodology and Psycho-Educational Assessment. Najwan enjoys her fluency in Arabic and spends her free time in social activities with her two beautiful teenage daughters and supportive husband. She is excited to utilize her experience and knowledge in ABA and supported employment at Quest

Amy Castaneda, BA | Employment Specialist

Amy has worked in the North Texas area providing employment services to people with disabilities for 19 years. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2001 and uses her years of education and years of experience to provide supported employment services, Autism Spectrum Disorder Support Services, Job Skills Training, and Environmental Work Assessments to better prepare individuals with disabilities for a future in the workforce. Amy has experience working with state waiver programs, providing case management and service coordination for individuals with disabilities. By joining the Quest family, Amy is able to continue doing what she loves- helping people with disabilities reach their maximum potential.

Paul Davis | Employment Specialist

Paul Davis is a graduate of Texas Woman’s University and a former middle school choir director from Denton, TX. He brings his years of experience parenting, teaching, waiting tables, and performing to create a positive and productive atmosphere for each person he crosses paths with. Paul’s passion lies with learning. As an employment specialist he is able to utilize his past experiences to create the optimal for his clients to learn the skills necessary to be successful in the work place. Paul provides Job Placement Services, Work Experience Services, Supported Employment Services, Job Skills Training, and Autism Supports Services. Paul works together with his wife, Lindsay, as Quests’ first Employment Specialist team.

Melody Williams, BS, MS | Project SEARCH Site Leader | Employment Specialist

Born in Jackson, Mississippi, Melody received her BA of Science degree in Biology at Jackson State University. Melody moved to Texas in 2008 in pursuit of a new journey. Once settled into her new town, Melody continued her education and received her master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling at the University of North Texas. Melody is the Project Search Site Leader for Texas Health Presbyterian, in partnership with Richardson ISD. She is also credentialed to provide several other services such as Vocational Adjustment Trainings, Supported Employment, Autism Endorsement, Job Skills Training, and Job Placement.

Jennifer Kirkpatrick, BS | Employment Specialist

After moving to Texas, Jennifer obtained her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in general sciences from Texas Woman’s University. She has over 6 years of experience working within different state waiver programs providing case management and service procurement to individuals with disabilities. Jennifer loves that she can bring to Quest a skill set that allows her to assist and enable her clients to successfully complete the hiring process on the way to gainful employment.

Lindsay Davis, BS | Employment Specialist

Lindsay Davis graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Woman’s University where she studied art and accounting. She is a passionate learner and takes pride in the art of organization. Lindsay found the Vocational Rehabilitation Field through her husband and partner, Paul Davis. Finding a field that fosters continuous learning and independence has allowed Lindsay to become a valued member of a team actively changing lives. Lindsay works together with her husband, Paul, as a part of Quest’s first Employment Specialist team.

Alex Nolan | Project SEARCH Site Leader

Alex has worked in the Amarillo area providing employment services to people with disabilities for 5 years and serves as the Project Search Site Leader for North West Hospital. She graduated from Amarillo College with a degree in Communication in 2014. Since joining the Quest family, Alex has been able to expand her network and continue doing what she loves- helping people with disabilities reach their maximum potential in the surrounding Amarillo and Texas Panhandle areas. Alex uses her experience and education to provide support for Work Experience, Summer Earn and Learn, Job Skills Training, and Job Placement to better prepare individuals with disabilities for a future in the workforce.

Kristie Hall | Quest2Achieve Site Leader

Kristie is a 1998 graduate of South Plains College with a degree in the Human Services field. Kristie assisted in teaching public school for 1 year with a focus on special education, serving as the Assistant Vocational Adjustment Coordinator for Lubbock-Cooper ISD. Through this position, Kristie was introduced to Scott Miller and Quest Employment Services and quickly realized her passion lay in assisting young adults with disabilities in finding their dream jobs! Kristie is now a Q2A site leader for Quests’ Q2A program at University Medical Center – Lubbock where she is able to work alongside her dear friend and colleague, Jill Schwertner.

Irene Chabot | Project SEARCH Site Leader

Irene graduated from the University of Central Florida in 2016 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Following her relocation to Texas, Irene obtained a Master of Business Administration from the University of Houston-Victoria in 2021. Irene joined Quest in 2022 and serves as the Site Leader and Employment Specialist for Project SEARCH at DOW Chemical in Seadrift, TX. Leveraging her expertise in the labor market of the rural area and her passion for helping others, Irene offers guidance and support to young adults with disabilities, assisting them in finding meaningful and impactful employment opportunities in their communities.

Brianna Iverson | Project SEARCH Site Leader

Since she was young, Brianna "Bee" Iverson has always had a passion for advocating for people with disabilities. She was able to translate that passion into a career through her work at the Children’s Association for Maximum Potential and in Special Education with Northwest ISD. Driven by a desire to make a difference, Bee transitioned into the world of vocational rehabilitation. She joined Quest in 2021 and serves as a Project SEARCH Site Leader and Employment Specialist. She views her job as a position of advocacy, empowering people with disabilities to reach their full potential. Through her work, she strives to create inclusive environments where everyone feels valued and supported. Bee is dedicated to breaking down barriers and promoting equal opportunities for all. She understands the importance of individualized support and tailoring services to meet each person's unique needs.

Kreg Marabel | Project SEARCH Site Leader

In 2008, Kreg concluded his academic journey at Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor's degree in Human Development Family Science. Following graduation, he immersed himself in Ohio’s non-profit sector, dedicating numerous years to enhancing the lives of people with disabilities through the delivery of invaluable employment services. In 2018, driven by an unwavering commitment to serve, Kreg made a pivotal move to Texas where he continued his advocacy for people with disabilities. Currently, Kreg serves as the Project SEARCH Site Leader and Employment Specialist for Texas Health- Harris Methodist in Fort Worth, TX where he continues to pursue his mission of empowering individuals and fostering positive transformations within the local community.

Hunter Kimble | Project SEARCH Site Leader

Hunter Kimble, a Texas and DFW native, is a newly Certified Rehabilitation Counselor, who recently earned her Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of North Texas. Equipped with the knowledge, skills, and passion for making a meaningful difference in the lives of people with disabilities facing challenges in the employment world, Hunter utilizes her knowledge in marketing and communications and her passion for advocacy to assist young adults with disabilites in securing meaningful Employment. Hunter currently serves as the Project SEARCH Site Leader and Employment Specialist for the Renaissance Hotel in Richardson, TX.
